Apr\u00e8s plusieurs ann\u00e9es de ralentissement li\u00e9es au retrait des bailleurs historiques, l\u2019institution mise sur le digital et la data pour restaurer son influence r\u00e9gionale.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cr\u00e9\u00e9 en 1999 avec l\u2019appui de partenaires internationaux, le GPE couvre aujourd\u2019hui 12 pays d\u2019Afrique centrale et des Grands Lacs. Le retrait des bailleurs en 2017 et la reprise en charge par l\u2019\u00c9tat du Cameroun ont fragilis\u00e9 son activit\u00e9 entre 2018 et 2021. Le nouveau plan strat\u00e9gique vise une relance structur\u00e9e autour d\u2019un campus num\u00e9rique, de la digitalisation administrative et de formations hybrides. L\u2019offre acad\u00e9mique est renforc\u00e9e par un master orient\u00e9 \u00ab Data, Economics and Development Policy \u00bb et cinq certificats sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9s. L\u2019objectif est clair : r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 la mont\u00e9e en puissance des besoins en analyse de donn\u00e9es et en pilotage des politiques publiques dans une sous-r\u00e9gion engag\u00e9e dans des r\u00e9formes soutenues par les institutions internationales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dans un contexte de transformation des politiques \u00e9conomiques en zone Cemac, le repositionnement du GPE appara\u00eet coh\u00e9rent et opportun. La demande en comp\u00e9tences analytiques devrait s\u2019acc\u00e9l\u00e9rer. Le programme redevient un indicateur avanc\u00e9 du capital humain r\u00e9gional.
