Ce financement vise \u00e0 aider le Cameroun \u00e0 r\u00e9duire les risques pour la stabilit\u00e9 future de sa balance des paiements, notamment ceux li\u00e9s au changement climatique et aux pand\u00e9mies. Le Cameroun, en tant qu&rsquo;\u00c9tat fragile et touch\u00e9 par un conflit, est confront\u00e9 \u00e0 des risques importants li\u00e9s au changement climatique, tels que des menaces pour les moyens de subsistance, des pertes de production et des \u00e9v\u00e9nements climatiques extr\u00eames tels que les s\u00e9cheresses, les inondations et l&rsquo;\u00e9rosion c\u00f4ti\u00e8re. Le FMI souligne que si ces risques ne sont pas trait\u00e9s de mani\u00e8re appropri\u00e9e, le changement climatique pourrait retarder le d\u00e9veloppement et la croissance inclusive du pays. Les d\u00e9caissements de ce financement d\u00e9buteront apr\u00e8s la premi\u00e8re revue du FSR, qui est pr\u00e9vue pour durer 18 mois et co\u00efncide avec la p\u00e9riode restante pour l&rsquo;impl\u00e9mentation des accords au titre des facilit\u00e9s \u00e9largies de cr\u00e9dit et de financement \u00e9largi, approuv\u00e9s en juillet 2021 et prolong\u00e9s en d\u00e9cembre 2023 pour soutenir le programme de r\u00e9forme \u00e9conomique et financi\u00e8re du pays.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ceci, dans le cadre du M\u00e9canisme pour la r\u00e9silience et la durabilit\u00e9 (FSR).
