Le Cameroun a r\u00e9duit ses importations de poissons de 20 milliards FCFA en 2023, dans le cadre d’efforts continus visant \u00e0 stimuler la production locale. Des bassins de production modernes ont \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9tablis avec un suivi r\u00e9gulier pour optimiser la fili\u00e8re halieutique. Le rapport 2023 sur le commerce ext\u00e9rieur indique une baisse de 7\u2009226 tonnes d’importations de poisson par rapport \u00e0 2022, soit -3%, et une r\u00e9duction de 20 milliards FCFA en valeur, repr\u00e9sentant une diminution de -10%. Malgr\u00e9 cela, un d\u00e9ficit de 270\u2009000 tonnes persiste sur le march\u00e9 local, avec seulement 230\u2009000 tonnes produites sur les 500\u2009000 tonnes annuellement demand\u00e9es en 2023. Le gouvernement camerounais s’efforce de r\u00e9duire ce d\u00e9ficit en stimulant la production halieutique, avec la mise en place de bassins de production maritime et continentale, ainsi que des soutiens aux acteurs de la p\u00eache et de l’aquaculture. Le Cameroun vise une production de 450\u2009530 tonnes en 2030 selon le Plan int\u00e9gr\u00e9 d’import-substitution agropastoral et halieutique 2024-2026, ce qui r\u00e9duirait sa d\u00e9pendance aux importations de produits halieutiques \u00e0 3%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
