L\u2019ouvrage, livr\u00e9 quatre mois \u00e0 l\u2019avance, porte l\u2019autonomie de consommation du Cameroun de 4 \u00e0 6 jours.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Les m\u00e9nag\u00e8res Camerounaises et des pays voisins peuvent envisager les f\u00eates de fin d\u2019ann\u00e9e avec un souci de moins.<a href=\"https:\/\/lettre-bourse.com\/2024\/12\/09\/n-198-du-06-decembre-2024\/\"> La disponibilit\u00e9 du gaz domestique est acquise<\/a>. Du moins c\u2019est ce que soutient la Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 Camerounaise des D\u00e9p\u00f4ts P\u00e9troliers (SCDP). Depuis quelques jours, l\u2019entreprise a renforc\u00e9 ses capacit\u00e9s avec la fin des travaux de construction de la sph\u00e8re n\u00b06 de gaz de p\u00e9trole liqu\u00e9fi\u00e9 (GPL) [ou gaz domestique, NDLR] au d\u00e9p\u00f4t de Douala-Bonab\u00e9ri. Soit 1000 tonnes m\u00e9triques (TM). Ce qui porte la capacit\u00e9 de ce d\u00e9p\u00f4t de 2500 \u00e0 3500 TM. Celui-ci compte en ce moment cinq sph\u00e8res op\u00e9rationnelles d\u2019une capacit\u00e9 de 500 tonnes m\u00e9triques chacune. La nouvelle sph\u00e8re sera mise en service d\u2019ici la fin de l\u2019ann\u00e9e.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La nouvelle infrastructure repr\u00e9sente une augmentation des capacit\u00e9s de stockage de 40% du d\u00e9p\u00f4t de Douala-Bonab\u00e9ri. Or, \u00ab&nbsp;100% du gaz consomm\u00e9 au Cameroun transite par notre d\u00e9p\u00f4t&nbsp;\u00bb, souligne la directrice g\u00e9n\u00e9rale de la SCDP, V\u00e9ronique Manzoua Epse Moampea Mbio. On peut donc dire que c\u2019est la capacit\u00e9 de stockage du pays qui augmente dans la m\u00eame proportion. Bien plus, poursuit-elle, ce projet r\u00e9sout plusieurs probl\u00e8mes au niveau des op\u00e9rations. \u00ab&nbsp;L\u2019autonomie de consommation du pays sera port\u00e9e de 4 \u00e0 6 jours.&nbsp;\u00bb&nbsp;Par ailleurs, \u00ab&nbsp;la capacit\u00e9 d\u2019accueillir de plus grands navires transportant le GPL, pour des op\u00e9rations de d\u00e9chargement prendra d\u00e9sormais moins de temps \u00e0 quai, avec pour cons\u00e9quence imm\u00e9diate, la r\u00e9duction des co\u00fbts, des tensions logistiques dans l\u2019exploitation du d\u00e9p\u00f4t et donc des risques de p\u00e9nurie.&nbsp;\u00bb<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pour V\u00e9ronique Moampea Mbio, cette r\u00e9alisation refl\u00e8te l\u2019engagement de la SCDP \u00e0 s\u00e9curiser les besoins \u00e9nerg\u00e9tiques des Camerounais, contribuant ainsi au d\u00e9veloppement durable du pays. En effet, explique-t-on au sein de l\u2019entreprise, la population camerounaise augmente chaque ann\u00e9e d\u2019environ 2,5 %. Pour se nourrir, 40% des m\u00e9nages utilisent le gaz domestique pour cuisiner. Bien plus, les approvisionnements pour le march\u00e9 national sont pass\u00e9s de 35&nbsp;000 tonnes en 2000, \u00e0 170 000 tonnes en 2021&nbsp;; toutes choses qui justifient l\u2019option d\u2019adapter les infrastructures logistiques \u00e0 ces besoins sans cesse croissants.
